Spiritual Temples: Heavenly Experiences in the Houses of God
This book is different than Andy's paranormal books in that it is religiously based. Like his other books, it discusses the supernatural, only this time with a religiously spiritual tone and topic. The book does discuss spirits, but those of a more heavenly bent. It is the author's personal approach to what he calls a reverent topic: Latter-day Saint temples, temple work, and the spirituality manifested in these houses of God. It takes a look at temples past and present, from biblical times to the present, and using the prophetic words of scripture and modern church leaders it discusses the future of temple building. More importantly, it has the premise that spiritual manifestations can occur inside temple walls today, just as they did in biblical times and in early LDS church history, as long as patrons are in tune with the promised revelations. Lastly, it offers suggestions for visitors to take full advantage of their temple experience today. Ideally, this book is for Latter-day Saints, but anyone interested in why Mormons build temples, and why they are sacred to church members, can benefit from this book.
